This cup is part of our Animal & Plant Glassware Series and features a standing polar bear design. The structure is a handleless tumbler, simple and smooth, suitable for both hot and cold beverages.

The inspiration behind this piece comes from powerful images of polar bears stranded on melting ice floes—uncertain where to go next. In this design, the glass polar bear stands on a small “iceberg” inside the tumbler, offering a quiet yet urgent reflection on the fragility of our planet’s ecosystems. It serves as a symbolic reminder that if we don’t protect the environment, the next generations may only see animals like polar bears behind glass—or inside it.

Each cup is individually handcrafted from heat-resistant borosilicate glass. As a result, slight variations such as air bubbles, texture lines, or asymmetry may occur—these are natural signs of authentic handwork and part of each piece’s uniqueness.
