FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Because most of our pieces are priced under R200, we're unable to offer free shipping on every order. Each glass item is carefully wrapped with layers of protective paper and bubble wrap to make sure it arrives safely—which also means the parcel is often bulkier than it looks.
For orders under R1600, we charge a flat shipping fee of R109. Orders over R1600 ship for free, as a small thank-you for your support. We always do our best to make sure every parcel—big or small—arrives safe, sound, and full of joy.
We primarily ship with The Courier Guy, as they’ve proven reliable for delivering our fragile glass safely. However, if you prefer to use PostNet, simply leave a note when placing your order—we’re happy to accommodate.
If your piece arrives damaged, we’re truly sorry. Please take clear photos and a short video of the damage as soon as possible, and send them to us via WhatsApp. We’ll make sure to send you a replacement right away. We put great care into packing, but we’re always here to make things right if something goes wrong in transit.
Occasionally, when we have time outside of our production schedule, we’re able to take on a small number of custom orders—like a miniature glass version of your beloved pet. However, most of our time is dedicated to fulfilling wholesale orders and making flowers and animals for weekly markets. If you’d like to request a custom piece, please share your idea with us, along with your desired size, reference photos from multiple angles, or a sketch if possible. We’ll let you know if we can bring it to life.
Absolutely! We love collaborating with businesses to create custom-designed glass pieces. If you're looking to develop signature items for your restaurant, winery, gift shop, or tourist destination, feel free to reach out to us via WhatsApp. We’ll discuss your vision, provide a sample, and take it from there.
At the moment, we do not yet offer in-person workshops, as we haven’t rented a commercial space large enough to host classes. Additionally, the equipment needed for glassmaking is quite expensive—a single oxygen concentrator along with the full set of essential tools can cost nearly R70,000. Currently, we only have three working stations, which are enough for our own production but not sufficient to support a group class of 5–10 people. That said, this is something we’re working toward. In the next 2–3 years, we hope to gradually invest in more equipment and find the right space to bring glassmaking workshops to life.
