Part of our 2026 floral collection, this handcrafted Strelitzia, also known as the Bird of Paradise, is one of our most intricate and time-consuming floral designs. Unlike many flowers where the petals share a similar shape, the Strelitzia features a remarkable variety of forms — some petals are long, others short; some curve outward while others fold inward; some rise gracefully upwards while others extend almost horizontally. Recreating these unique shapes in glass requires exceptional precision and patience.

To further enhance the design, we introduced a touch of transparent bright blue glass alongside the vibrant orange petals. This contrast of colour and transparency brings additional depth and brilliance to the flower, helping it stand out while capturing the striking beauty that makes the Bird of Paradise one of nature’s most extraordinary blooms.
